What we fund

Our main purpose is to alleviate poverty and advance physical and mental health in our area of benefit.

Funding for organisations

In the last few years we have been focusing especially (but not only) on debt advice, homelessness and mental health and we have supported vital local services to cope with the cost of living crisis.

We can accept applications from organisations that cover an area bigger than our area of benefit but can only make a grant to assist the part of their work that benefits people in our AOB. Grants are usually given for a period of up to one year.

We generally provide grants around £15,000. If your work fits with these priorities, we’d love to hear from you. Please read more about our application process.

Examples of projects we’ve recently funded

Community Association for West Hampstead (CAWH)
£10,000, match-funded alongside City Bridge Trust towards the provision of services and activities for older residents in West Hampstead, ranging from art and exercise to taster therapy sessions.

Age UK Camden
£15,000 for delivery of debt advice and support for older people in the Trust’s catchment areas of Kilburn and Hampstead.

Kids
£9,920 for the Connect & Thrive project, a mental health intervention for isolated parents of disabled children.

Funding for individuals

We also provide small grants to individuals facing extreme hardship in our area of benefit, for basic living needs.

Applications must be made by an organisation on behalf of the individual. We cannot accept applications directly from individuals needing help. Find out more here.
