Robin Woolfson
Chair of Trustees
Robin has worked as a NHS hospital consultant in North Central London for more than 25 years, gaining extensive experience in medical leadership, service development, and governance. He is a Trustee of the Epilepsy Society. Robin has lived in HWCT's area of benefit for 30 years and has been involved with local amenity groups.
Jeremy Wells
Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees
Co-Chair of Finance Committee
Jeremy is an independent investment management consultant, with over thirty years of experience as a fund manager and of working on the investment needs of charities and other very long term endowments. Born in Camden, Jeremy has spent most of his life living close to the charity’s area of benefit.
Fiona Dunsire
Fiona is a qualified Actuary, now leading the Government Actuary’s Department, after a career in investment consulting. Fiona is an active advocate for diversity and inclusion, mentors future leaders and is a volunteer maths tutor to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds get to top universities.
Jamie Firby
Jamie works in the communications team at grantmaker Trust for London. Previously he has worked in local government and has an academic background in politics and journalism.
Simone Hensby
Simone has extensive experience in the voluntary and community sector, nationally and locally. Her experience includes community development, health and social care and over twenty years working as a charity CEO. She is also a Fellow of the RSA, a member of the Association for Project Management. and an associate consultant with the NCVO.
Amanda Lewis
Amanda has worked as a partner in leading City law firms since 2000, now working for Dentons as a Consultant. She is an expert in commercial law and has written four books for Boards of Directors. She has lived close to the area of benefit for most of her adult live, and is an experienced trustee with a strong track record of delivering pragmatic analysis on all aspects of strategy, risk and governance.
David Lazarus
Co-Chair of Finance Committee
David is the Head of Finance for a leading board games company. He is a chartered accountant (FCA) and has spent his career working in senior finance in the advertising, retail, manufacturing and consulting sectors. He was previously treasurer of the Noah Ark’s Children’s Hospice.
Nina Fletcher
Nina is an executive director with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an experienced trustee. She has spent her career in the not-for-profit sector and has held leadership roles since 2010, focusing on evidence-based decision making and strategy development. She is a qualified executive coach and has provided consultancy around impact demonstration to.a variety of organisations.
Michele Martin
Michele Martin has lived in the charity’s area of benefit and worked with non-profits in North London for nearly a decade. A former national newspaper journalist, she changed career to help support under-represented communities and has a successful track record as a charity fundraiser. She’s currently fundraiser and strategy lead at Queen’s Crescent Community Association in Gospel Oak, Camden.
Rev’d Carol Barrett Ford, Vicar, St John-at-Hampstead
Mthr Carol taught English for twenty years before becoming a priest. She served her curacy in an urban priority area church in inner city Newcastle upon Tyne, followed by her appointment as Chaplain to St John’s College, Cambridge where she also served as Acting Dean of Chapel. After leaving Cambridge she served five years as Vicar of St Martin’s Church, Gospel Oak.
Mthr Carol is Area Dean of Camden and actively involved in Initial Ministerial Education for the Edmonton Area, working with curates in their first three years of ministry
